This is the lightest wooden bent shaft paddle we know about, and it’s a beauty. Made of laminated basswood and cedar, the paddle has a curved dihedral blade for a nice catch and a good hold on the water. The cedar blade is overlaid with 4oz fiberglass cloth and the edge has a urethane protection strip all the way around for durability. The blade is angled at 14 degrees for efficiency.
