The Prospecteur is a classic canoe design with moderate rocker and gentle tumblehome. This versatile design tracks well loaded yet is maneuverable, making it an excellent tripping canoe. It is made of Esquif’s new T-Formex material, an ABS foam laminate very similar to Royalex. (You can read more about T-Formex on our blog.) The Prospecteur 17 comes with wood webbed seats and a contoured yoke plus one thwart.
